GM part # for horns?

Re: GM part # for horns?
Save yourself a lot of money and go to Advance Auto/Pep Boys for them. Advance Auto had both the high/low note horns. What's even better is that they were made by the same manufacturer and had the same part numbers as the stock horns.

Do the ones from the part store plug in or do you have to splice in? And does it sound the same as the GM ones? I saw one at Advance Auto for $9.98 the name of the company was Fiamm...but the plug ends look diffrent than what is on the car.

It should be located under your passenger headlight. Use a 10mm socket and remove teh two bolts nerthe car in the same spot and an access panel will be able to flip down and give you access to it.

mustang50hater, I know why ur horn sounds , mine did too. the front (low tone) horn is pointed forward. I took mine out to replace is and when I tilted it water came out, not a very smart idea to mount it like that. So when u remount ur new horn(s) point the front horn down, the back (high tone) horn is already pointing down.
