Hahaha, I mean you replace the RED sided bolt not the BLACK. Just got mixed up for a second because I was just watching that video which say's to remove the Negative first. Thanks.

Okay, as for the ring terminal. Do I splice the blue power wire first and then connect to the ring terminal or do I just slide the blue wire in there and squeeze with pliers? I've used the twist caps to connects wire's together but have never used high temperature ring terminals.

You want to strip the wire jacket off first. You won't make much of an electrical connection if you crimp it to the insulator

If you have a set of wire crimpers or can borrow some, it might work better than pliers. You want to make sure the wire is not going to come out by accident.

That's what I thought but the ring terminal seems so strong that it cannot be bent or lets say crimp.

I have a special tool that you put the larger terminals into and hit with a hammer to crimp them You may need to rig something up, because those suckers are tough to crimp.

Special tool? Do you think I can buy that at Radio Shack? Do you know the exact name of the tool?

I'll try and look for that part this week. So far I have everything except for the HEAD UNIT. I'm really axious to do this install. Do you think it would be okay if I completed the wiring and when the Head Unit come's in just plug everything needed to it? Basically,

Run the Power Cable through the Firewall on the Passenger Side, run it all the way to the back and connect it to the Amp

Then Plug the RCA Cable's to the Amp and run it through the Driver Side.

Then take the Remote Wires from the Amp and run it with the RCA Cables.

As for the Ground Cable, I was thinking of doing that after I put in the Head Unit.

You think this will be okay?

If you're going to do all that, you may as well just hook up the ground, too. Just for the hell of it, you could probably leave the fuse out of the fuse holder in the power wire until you hook it all up.

Hey Hatch, started a little wiring and took pictures of what I did so far. It's so darn cold outside (I don't have a garage) so I had to stop and continue tomorrow.

Picture 1:
Connected the RCA Cables can started to run it through the driver side but I stopped behind the driver seat because I couldn't get that damn Seatbelt thing off.

Picture 2:
Connected the Remote Wire (is that where I'm suppose to connect it?)

Picture 3:
I noticed that one of the Hex screws on the speaker wire connectors are missing. Will I be able to buy that at radioshack or something? Also for the speaker wires, I asume the red wire is the positve and the other wire is the negative correct? ( Red wire connects to the "+" and the other wire connects to the "-" correct?)

Tomorrow I will try to attempt to connect and run the Power Wire down the passenger side. Same with the ground wire also, just need to do another quick search to see where everyone connect's the ground wire too.

I took it with my iPhone, it takes bad pictures when taken really close. So any screw will work? The one's that are on there now, do you think I can get those same one's at a local part's store?

Also how do you take off the bottom part of the driver/passenger side seatbelt? I need to remove that part so I can run the cables under the carpet. Thanks for your help.

You probably can't get the exact same thing from a store like Radio Shack... Any screw that fits will be fine. Well, as long as it's bare metal, I guess I should mention, not painted.

Sorry I haven't checked in lately, I broke a valve in my racecar yesterday and it destroyed my heads and pistons . . . The bright side is that it gives a good excuse to bore the cylinders and buy new, bigger pistons and shiny new heads This isn't my WS6 BTW, that one's just fine. I drag race a 69 Camaro with a 454 BBC (will probably now be a 468).

Enough about me . . . I think dragonrage gave you good advice. Any screw will work as long as it's not painted. Just don't force it. Cross-threading is a bitch!

Yes, that's where the remote wire goes . . .

It doesn't matter if you use the red for + on the speaker wires as long as you are consistent. But, since they are nice and red, you may as well.

your rca's should go to input, not output.

So just switch the cables next to where I inserted the RCA cables?
