Removing Monsoon and amp for replacement
Does anyone have any suggestions for a system that will power all 6 speakers? A decent system under $500. Doesn't have to be double din or anything fancy. I'm all for function, screw form.
Also the sail speakers, since i will not have to worry bout the factory Ohms crap, is there a decent speaker that will put out good bass and fit in that location w/o spacers or mods?

Sony MEX-BT2600

3(?) screw/bolts, one(?) plug and it's gone.
Now as for removing all of the other harnesses/wiring associated with it and the system, that is a little more complicated/involved.
Yeah the amp is easy, i have taken it out before. Probably gonna sell it on here or ebay.
So right now it looks like all i need is:
Headunit - Sony MEX-BT2600
Sail panel speakers - open to recommendations
Rear hatch speakers - open to recommendations
Speaker wire - no brainer
i would either get components up front and move the infinitys to the back and get a decent 4 channel amp
or leave the infinitys and get either coaxials for the back or a midbass/sub for the back. Elemental designs 7kv2 comes to mind

cheap and works great... i have the previous model and it was in my boat for years and still goin strong in a buddys car now
As for speakers Pioneer, Alpine, and Infinity are all good speakers for fairly cheap.
Just checked:
The $170 Sony will do just fine.
The cheapest properly optioned Pioneer is nearly twice the price.
