Help me decide.....
Help me decide..... Which sub would be my best choice for SPL. I will be running a MTX 1501d, roughly 1000rms @ 2ohms. My choices are:
RE SR12's
Image Dynamics IDQ v2 12's or 15's
MMats 2.5
Kicker Solo L5
Kicker Comp CVX 12
JL Audio 12w3 or 15w3
MTX Thunder Square 12's
Soundstream T5-12
I want hard hitting bass that will rival a ported enclosure. My car has some dynamat and i have a nice head unit to get a clean signal. Post any experience with any of the brands i have listed or any additionalbrands that you would recommend.

I would look at the RE SX12, FI Q12, and TC Sounds/AudioPulse EPIC or REVO 12".
I will hopefully be working with a company soon that makes some pretty sick subs as well called Robot Underground. Definetly need to check them out if your looking for big bass output!!

Lots of options, but before you can really take any recommendations to heart we need to know how many cubic feet of space you have for the driver. For your needs though a 15 will be better than a 12 assuming you have room for it. With a kW I really like the SSA Icon. I may be carrying RE Audio by tommorrow. I just got a new distributor I will be working with and am finalizing the paperwork now. I haven't seen my pricing yet on those products but I will be doing everything I can to be competitive.

.... I am stuck between the RE SE12 and the Elemental 13 Ov2. The RE says the optimal sealed enclosure is 1 cu ft, which is perfect. Between the 2 which is better for street bass? They both are about equal in power handling and excursion.
