Help me! I am totally clueless when it comes to speakers! The stock monsoon sounds like **** with them rattling from me blowing em i think and I want to upgrade all the factory speakers, but i need you guys to tell me what speaker to go with. I dont have to have the top of the line but on a scale of 1 to ten id said i want a speaker thats around an 8. Please help me out.

I have been using MB Quart for a while. I currently have the some MB's components up front and some 4x6 in the rear pillar of my truck and sound awesome.

Re: Help me! So if i went ot best buy or circuit sity whats stuff do I need to tell em I want cause I rather you guys tell me than them when they re just trying to screw me. Will this set up hit a little(dont need anything as strong as a sub or anything)?
Re: Help me! On most cases, aftermarket speakers will improve the sound of your stock system. To truly appreciate these speakers I just pointed out, you will need an external amp. An amp with the HP crossover set @ about 60-70Hz and the difference night will be night and day of your current set up.
Re: Help me! I would stay away from Best Buy. I have not been there in a long while but when I went, they did have some crappy brands except for RF and Pioneer. Go to Circuit City, choose some nice Infinity or Polk speakers. They will probably ask you if wnat for them to install them for you. I would not let them. I have heard horror stories about this.

Re: Help me! CC or Best Buy doesn't sell MB Quart. Nore should they. They don't deserve a quality product. How much are you really looking to spend? Got enough money for an amp? For four quality speakers (or component set) and a small amp, expect to pay $350. And that cutting it damn close. And that's also without any wiring. A cheap place to buy your wiring from is www.knukonceptz.com Oh, and check out the Infinity Reference line. You can get them for roughly $90 brand new off EBay and they are a DAMN good buy for the money. Let us know if you need any more help.
