Anyone know who owns this car?
Does anyone know who owns this car? It has the cleanest engine bay ever. I would love to ask him/her how they routed the wire harness and cleaned all the electonics up. Also, if you have any pics of a clean engine bay I would love to see them.

Thanks for the link. That engine bay is awesome. I would like my build to be that clean. I have a convertible so I am not sure if I need the ac or not. I have had the car for 1 summer and the ac doesn't work now anyhow. So I have to decide when I do the swap if I need it or not. Any thoughts?

I deleted my A/C about 2 years ago, and the only time I REALLY miss it is in fogged inside glass, rainy conditions where I don't want to open the windows and let the deluge into the interior.
The defoster/defogger setting only works so well without the drying help of the A/C system.
It does get somewhat hot here sometimes in the summer, but NOTHING like the blast furnace of the southwest, or the steam room/sauna conditions of the south, so consider that.

I have AC in my LS, never use it... been holding off on deleting it until I figure out how much weight savings I'll do on this new car. On my 96 I had it deleted and that was a black/black leather hard top car and I used to sit in dead of the summer traffic in it...had to take my shirt off a few times...nothing crazy unbearable...

I just read through Punisher Ta's thread on building the car. It's too bad someone would put all that time into something only to give up and junk it.

They are for oil, diff, or coolant fluid overflow, as required by many racing sanctioning body rules, but also used by street driven cars as well.
There are also air/oil separators (like the Moroso unit I have on mine) which take the crankcase vented air after the PCV valve, and run it through a baffled can to cool the mist and cause the oil to drop out of the mist and stay trapped in the bottom of the can to be drained off by the owner (some complicated systems send it back to the pan via an oil line).
ALL of the above help keep oil out of the intake/off of the intake floor, some better than others.
