Exclamation Help Needed!

Car just started doing this. I was sitting at a light with my foot on the brake and noticed the car was jerking. Also noticed it was making a popping noise and a noise of fluid moving. Drove from the light and everything was normal. Stopped in a parking lot and with my foot on the brake in drive it started again. If i leave the car in drive and let it start coasting it keeps jerking and the noises still can be heard. If the car is in park this doesnt happen. Oil pressure is around 20 at idle but its always been like that. Anyone have an idea (converter, trans oil pump?)

Have you done any work to the car recently? Try cleaning the MAF, may need replacing and check the vaccum lines. As far as the noise goes, where is it coming from?

Well if its coming from the trans, then its probably the trans... check fluid level. Converter may be going out.

If its the converter, than I would not take the risk of driving it further due to the risk of damaging the rest of the trans if it has not already I would be surprised.

Did not think about the coolant being low and it making the swishing noise... easy check there, but does not explain the other issues.
