I love my Fuddle 3400. It has worked great for me over the past year.

Hey yank, I really like your converters on your website the PT's are the only lockup converters?? All the rest are non lock up?? Is this bad?? I had a TH400 in my 98 LS1 powered cam n20 car, and it wasnt to bad...what conv. would you recommend for a trex full bolt on n2o car with some weight reduction..PS i like a tight conv. for street.. like roll racing..

Most of the yank converters for the 4L60e are lock-up.

YPT4000 would be your best bet if the spray is a 100 shot. Great converter for NA racing from a roll. If you're going to push 200 shot, a PYE 3600 would be a good option.

Art Carr has a decent reputation but the only good results I've seen from them in LS1s has been on the very top end performance wise or in a TH400.

Fuddle was a sponsor and ran into some problems and was dropped. The business is trying to make a comeback.

I've got an Art Carr converter in my car and love it. I can creep uphill at idle without throttle input, just like stock. It pulls pretty nice up top too - much more fun to drive than a few other brand 3600-3800 stalls I've driven. I recently had it gone through after a trans failure (see next paragraph) by ATI here in Baltimore. ATI said it was one of the nicest converters they've ever seen...

Just don't get a built 4L60E from Art Carr. Apparently they press on some sleeve over the input drum/shaft, which was the likely culprit in breaking my input drum clean off the shaft

i had an art carr converter and 4l60e but i added that to the list of 5 4l60e's that have busted. ummm basically i thought the converter sucked it was suppose to be a 3800stall and wouldnt footbrake to 2000 i took it out and put in a yank pt4000 and loved it until the tranny broke and a buddy of mine pulled it apart to rebuild it for me and saw that there wherent to many aftermarket parts in it just a few things like cervo and what not. i believe part of my reason was cause i ordered it from art carr in abalene(sp) texas and that was supposibly the art carr that the owner sold to a group of investers and i guess only owns 1 shop left in california so that didnt turn out to well for me. i have had great luck with yank and now i am going with a rossler th350 and an ATI 8" 3800stall converter

I ordered my fuddle converter last Friday and it showed up today (Thursday). Thats what I'm talkin about.

I haven't seen one story on here of someone WHO ACTUALLY RAN a fuddle and had it break on them. I have seen many folks who love them!

There are numerous folks that have had their fuddles take a crap out on them. Or there are several folks that are realizing how ineffeicent their converters are. Either way (same as any product) you're going to have people that love the product and some that don't. Fuddle does one thing that Yank/Vig don't, they offer a low priced (alternative) converter to a web based clientel. I guess one of the biggest infuances you should look @ is this. Maybe there's a reaons there aren't any Fuddles in that group?

BTW, it's nice to see fuddle is back on-line (not as a sponsor though) maybe they can give some facts about what has transpired over the past 6 months. Seeing how they're talking about their great customer service on other forums, maybe we @ LS1tech can get some of that too, or at least some explinations?

Well I havent really seen anybody say they ahve had a problem with their Fuddle other than the custoemr service complaints. Mine is great and has never had a problem.

and there is at least one Fuddle on that list. MNRO hasa Fuddle. And if you really want to see fast - check out SR71 and his Fuddle -- 9.3!
