Blowthrough 6.0 S480 5speed combo
I posted this combo in the forced induction section when I dynoed the engine, and in the single digit section, but i should have shared it here.
Anyway here are the results of my turbo build which started in January 2013:
9.57 @ 146, 9.58 @147 3rd time out, I'm pretty pumped!
100k mile 6.0, untouched rotating assy-strait from the wreaker
l92 heads, BW cast std cover S480, 92mm turbine, 1.1a/r
Comp 227/235, .613/.621, 114+4 w/patriot extreme springs
Vic jr/ CSU750 blow through, CSU hat,
non intercooled, 16 psi
100LL fuel
AIS 3nozzle meth setup, comes in at 4psi
Ls9 gaskets, Chinese studs
in a 3510lb raceweight 67 camaro, with a GF5R 5 speed

Stock 823 square port heads. Running 3.54 gears. I shift it at 68-7000. I need to gear it down , I've got some 3.73's I'm gonna put in this winter.
It's very streetable, much more so than the 7500rpm n/a motor I had before. I run it on 93 octane on 10psi tune on the street

Man I like both of your combos! This current one would probably work best with my parts I have now (3.50 gears and "tight" "10 converter. I saw the dyno #'s on 10 psi. Very nice! Any track passes with it at 10 psi? All we have here is 91 octane. Wonder how your tune would work with it.

Right on man that is more than fast enough for me lol! I would want a bit of a lopey idle as well or it just doesn't seem right. What are your exhaust manifolds off?
