Stock 823 square port heads. Running 3.54 gears. I shift it at 68-7000. I need to gear it down , I've got some 3.73's I'm gonna put in this winter.
It's very streetable, much more so than the 7500rpm n/a motor I had before. I run it on 93 octane on 10psi tune on the street

Man I like both of your combos! This current one would probably work best with my parts I have now (3.50 gears and "tight" "10 converter. I saw the dyno #'s on 10 psi. Very nice! Any track passes with it at 10 psi? All we have here is 91 octane. Wonder how your tune would work with it.

On 10 psi it ran 10.03 @ 136
If I was smart I would put a smaller cam in it and turn less rpm, but push more boost. It would have better driveability and run as fast. BUT I like the Lopey idle! Lol

Right on man that is more than fast enough for me lol! I would want a bit of a lopey idle as well or it just doesn't seem right. What are your exhaust manifolds off?

Truck manifolds . I had to tweak them a bit, but they weld just like steel, too easy
Here is a pic of drivers side

I need to quit BSin and do a turbo 4.8/5.3. Just don't have the funds for induction and fuel.

Ya, forced induction isn't cheap. But this project is on par with building a budget Big block $ wise.
