Yes, leaps and bounds ahead without spending any money or time to get that done. Going to possibly try plastidip or figure something out.

Sitting in the back yard in the trailer will probably be its future till I get the 3/4 ton done. Then I'll move it to the other garage where that is at.

If the car had a nice paint job and no dents I would man, but by the time I fix the little stuff and replace a fender it will need paint. I may just find some cheep red paint, who knows.

the last few months I have started getting ready for me Holley EFI setup (I know, I know). I picked up a used a1000 with filters for $250, only about 2k on the rebuild on the pump and I started making a bracket for it to hang off the frame rail.

Thanks! its solid 5/16" mild steel. Other than the crossbar at the back its one continuous piece. I could have just cut each piece and welded them together but this was more fun and much cleaner.

Looks like a nice mount. I'll be using the same pump when I go forced induction one day.

I have a new 5 gallon plastidip kit i'll sell you zane. it was for the s10. I paid a little over 500 for the kit with a resperator, gun, dip, stirring sticks, etc. come grab it for 400. this is the color. it's a 2:1 mixture of anthracite gray with metallic silver

I finished swapping the new 6 liter in to my 3/4 ton. Was a pain in the *** but it runs. Have a initial tune to get it inspected. Runs pretty decent and will be even better with the WOT tuning later.

we'll have to line up the tow pigs to see how much more grunt yours has with a fresher cammed motor. I've wanted to stick a 212/218 110+4 in mine but just cant justify spending money on the tow turd. our trucks are about identical, but I swear yours had more grunt the day you pulled my s10 to the strip.

speaking of sounding good...I'm excited that all of my new exhaust components are showing up today. the Camaro currently has a 3" h pipe setup with some large flowmaster mufflers. sounds good, but I'm sure the flowmasters are restricting my blown 408 CI.

I'm going a little redneck zane on this exhaust setup. mandrel 3.5" through a x pipe and the short dynomax bullets. I typically run 3" with the long bullets but I wanted a little more bark at idle to match the pro-street look of the car. I remember zane's little cammed 4.8 sounded like a monster next to my 6.0. both of us running bullets, his just being the shorter version.

some days i ponder how to package an x-pipe under the hood for my fender exits, just to help out the exhaust note a bit.

My truck did pull pretty well for stock compared to others stock for stock. But now? Cannot wait to wax some stupid *** kid in his daddy's diesel.

And the blue s10? Lol, it had a full 12" bullet man. Was the one off the 94 GMC I pulled apart.

And I don't know any rednecks running bullets. That's a insult. I'm just agressive.

they call them glass packs, but in reality they're bullets

did the s10 have 1 or 2 mufflers? did the stang or Camaros have duals? I'm anxious to hear a clip of what it may sound like. I'm afraid it's going to be too loud. the 18" bullets were always a hair too quiet at idle for me...but that was with 3" exhaust. I hear that the 3.5 may be a little louder.

Single 18 on the s10. Dual 6" on the stang. Camaro has a single 6".

damn i didnt realize dual was THAT much quieter than single. Your single 18 on a 4.8 sounded like a monster next to my dual 18 on a 6.0.

I didnt realize they offered a 6"
