Default l92 victor jr to super victor swap on my lq4 is it worth changing

Have a Victor jr. Now on my 6.0 just wondering if it would pick up any switching? Combo is lq4 with milled ls3 heads and custom cam, 950 carb.

IF you have a lot of room under the hood it won't hurt you IMO. It will really shine if you are really twisting it out or have a lot of cubes. The underhood limitations just kill it for most not many small street cars want a 6-8" cowl and most people with a large engine space aren't turning really high RPM's.

I have a holley intake and ran the super and lost 2mph on the big end. Im running a ly6 with nascar ls2 rotating assembly 647/615 on 111 cam ls3 heads milled 40 with .040 gaskets and a holley ultra carb. I bought the super to install a fogger but you really need some big displacement or alot of rpm to make use of it.

Not to Hi jack but you didnt have any problems with the .040 gaskets? i am thinking of milling my heads a little more and installing .040 gaskets too. Mines a LY6 as well. Those pistons stick out alot.

For these intakes to work I think it might require a re-think in valve timing vs typical cam design when running the smaller intake.
