Default SLP air lid

Got an air lid and bellow for a Christmas gift and am super stoked but I have a question. Where my finger is pointing it has a rubber hose that connects to that 90 then goes to another 90 my car has no where to hook this hose. Is this hose important or can I plug the hole. Thanks in advance

That there is for the AIR system, since your car is a 2000 you can just plug the hole and not worry about it.

Plug the hole if the air system is currently deleted. If your not sure if it's deleted I'd do a google image search.

Since you asked that question does it matter for other years? Just asking because I'm planning on doing the delete for my 02 SS

Just asking since to my knowledge all the 98-02 have the same lid not sure if they all have the same air system though. You know if they sell a delete kit or are we just going to a parts store and getting misc sizes

they sell an air blockoff kit. the 98-99 air system was different it didnt have the junction block on the back of the heads. The block off plates for the manifolds can be bought at a sponsor but I just made my own when I did it. I got a rubber plug at home depot (brought the lid with me)

Is that all that has to be blocked off? Just the lid/back of the intake manifold/plates for manofold or headers
