lol, not sure yet, i will be spending enough - it needs complete interior and florr pans, i got it for 1500 bucks, it has a 283 with a 3 speed auto in it now, the body is straight except for the drivers fender has a dent, i think i can pond that out and smooth it over, other than that the body is pretty much good, needs a hood though, it has rusted through.

Go to ChevyTalk.org these guys know just about everything their is to know about vintage Chevys. I own 2 semi stock 1963 Impala SS Convertibles and a 59 El Camino that I'm installing a LS1 into(hoping to start my thread soon). I go there for the stock and here for the New "Bob Bitching" LS1 stuff. Anyhow here's some stuff I found that will help you on your VIN. Hope this helps.

Thanks man! So basically it's saying it's an Impala V8, 2 door sport coupe? But is there a way to determine if it's an SS or not? Doesn't really matter to me but I would like to know. I'll probably put some type of LS drivetrain in it.
