Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 349.2 388.02 flyw HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 421.36 rear wheel HP and 468.17 flywheel HP.

Your close on this tune up the car made 459hp/490tq..

I went 1.99 60' walking it out to the 1/8th on raidals had to lift and short shift to 2nd gear 2.8 seconds in then I lifted at about 1200 ft or as I went buy the 1000' lights. I'm guessing the car would have went another 3-5 mph easy.. The data does not lie lol you can clearly see all this happen. IN MY MIND on that pass it was pinned to the floor and I was drive 'n' the shi* out of it... That was the first time I have had it north of 105 mph but it does well its nice and smooth and all the coil covers are doing there job well...

I am headed to the Dyno this week after I road tune it to 23-24lbs and 800'ish HP.

I have no reason to belive my car, with me driving on 7lbs will go 11.teens 11.20's@125'ish...

How did the car act on that run? Smooth, but I have changed the suspension so much it better be!

How much boost are you leaving on? 0 lbs of boost more like 15" of vac..

What's the stall on the converter? It is a very tight 3000 stall Marty chance from Neil chance racing converter built off my datalogs for the car.. He said it needs 600 ft lb of tq to each 3000rpm and with no transmission brake I won't get there yet..

That is a really cool hybrid.

What if anything did you do about the steering system?

Swapping spindles left & right to get front steer can cause problems.

That is what was done along with a flaming river rack and 96-01 dodge 1/2 ton Tie rods, and a custom by me bump steer kit.

No problems here I have been North of 150mph now..

Driving straight at high speed the ackermann angle has no effect, but I would suggest caution if you drive on any curves at moderate to high speed. The image from the build thread makes it look like the ackermann is significantly backwards, I suspect that when you turn full lock, outside tire turns significantly sharper than the inside one, that could result in unpredictable handling at moderate steer angles.

I ended up changing to Fox body Mustang spindles on my Daytona to get the ackermann angle fixed. The Daytona started out with steering behind the suspension similar to the Focus.

Not LS powered, but the same issue:

So far I have not had any problems with it, but I am not much in to corners unless I'm on a bike. I do live in Missouri now and I do drive the car on the street a lot, so I will keep that in mind as we have some corners that sneak up on you around here.

With that said I do want to upgrade the front end and put a nice aftermarket upper/lower control arm with coil over strut on it, but that's going to be awhile now since I just moved.

Well this is the results from my Friday night testing. I went 1 full second faster and picked up 6 mph from the last time out, and I was only on 1 more pound of boost. So I'm now in the 10's, on next to nothing for boost... Put the car on a set of old 26x10 Et drags so I didn't have to fight the water box with my Nitto's. car went 10's with ease! The car is a blast to drive on the street and at the track!

Cool

This build is totally bad-***... (Needs a lot more pictures though!!)

Do you get a lot of double-takes when people are trying to match the exhaust note to the car??

I daily drive this car. The better the tune gets the more I drive it and the more miles from home I will go.

I have had people stop traffic on busy roads to ask questions, follow me till I pull over, or get home, they look for me in the stores its crazy. I feel like a target, if they are looking at you they are driving towards you. I have been almost hit more times than I can count..

As for pictures just Google LS1 ZX3 its all over the net...

Haha, that poor Dart was looking forward to an easy W when you ruined his night, getting beat by a Focus. Did he even pull back into the pits or drive straight home to start crying on his big block! His buddies will never let him live that down! Keep hurting feelings and posted the evidence for us all to enjoy!
