Default Patriot 225/229 Cam LS1 results. on a Mustang Dyno

Finally got my car tuned today. Thanks to Intune Motorsports. Made an open loop tune since my headers had a tiny leak around the collector area. I was pleased with the results, I was expecting about 365 on a Dynojet, but I got there and found out it was a Mustang Dyno. So I'd say my goal was met! Everyone says this Mustang Dyno is very conservative, but all MD's are, and I'm not trying to bench race..

In his sig - m6

I'm not understanding why your power stopped climbing when it did. The only time I've seen that is when big cams are held back by intake or heads, but your cam is mild. I would expect your power to peak past 6k.

Not bad! I did 395HP/385TQ with the same cam and stock 243's on a Mustang dyno: https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...99-z28-m6.html

Cutouts were closed, I later found.

bring this one back from the dead lol? #'s look pretty weak to me when I've see a4 w/ bolt on's making 340 and 350. I would have expected around 380ish.

I'm bringing back my old thread since I've been doing some searches of this cam again.

This cam was in my old 97 LS1 swapped car. The cam got transferred to my current car. I can guarantee if I redynoed this car right now it'd make more power for sure. It feels so much faster in this one. If anyone is looking into getting this cam, don't hesitate. I'll have some TSP Ported LS6 heads later this year to top it off.
