The horsepower is believable but the tq is BY FAR the most I've ever seen for a stock internal LS1. I don't think I've seen one over 380. There are alot of H/C cars that don't make 397 RWTQ. What type of dyno is this?

Guys, read the graph - it's a dynocom.

Given that he has the big tubes, FAST intake, big TB and big lid, and clearly well-tuned -- this is very believable.

Nice nice results. This is a sneaky fast car that I bet has surprised some folks...and gets good MPGs if you keep your foot light.

Dynocom Dyno...

they match a Mustang Dyno pretty closely in #'s.. maybe just a hair higher
I've had past cars on both and the results were about the same on both dyno's

and I took a little road trip recently...modded the car using my Dads garage, drove home...

got 29 mpg on the way up.....got 27.5 mpg on the way home...

Torque looks way high compared to anything I've seen out of a bolt-on car. Also, I've never seen another car dynoed on a Dynocom, so I can't compare, but I think it's probably something to do with the dyno rather than the car being a freak.

I built a dyno excel program that uses data from my HP Tuners... matches the curve and #'s pretty spot on...

its not high dyno #'s...
did this on a local dyno day..everybody elses #'s looked "normal" so its not a bad dyno

to top it off.. I can downshift on the highway at 65mph...into 3rd..and break the tires loose...
first gear is a pointless gear at WOT...

Nice numbers, whats it trap in the 1/4? 350 wtq by 2500rpm?? Thats got to be the best tq curve I have ever seen out of a stock ls1. Looks almost like a stroker tq curve? Also never seen a m6 ls1 make 30 more wtq than whp? Man your settin records with that setup!!

havent been home enough to hit a track day since then...

but I'm hoping to go to the track with it soon...
only 1/8 mile tracks here in nashville... might have to make a trip up to bowling green to hit a 1/4 mile

Nice Numbers Soundengineer super smooth table top torque curve, Dynocom Inc. Dynos are made in Fort Worth Texas, just down the road from me.
This is where the TheTuningSchool holds their shop day classes when they come to the DFW area.
Dynocom dyno = Mustang dyno

yeah.. I had been on both on previous cars... they were always really close to the same...

LOL...just imagine the #'s I would have if it was a Dynojet.....

part of that flat torque comes from the tune being really dialed in..
(Yes.. I'm the tuner)
the other part comes from port velocity...everything steps down in size by very small incriments as it goes in...and theres a lot of room for the exhaust to breathe out as well...

those who think 1-7/8 primaries are too big for stock cubes LS1's are obviously just idiots who know nothing about engines

it falls off up there around 5500...because its a stock cam...and thats what a stock cam does...LOL..
cant wait to throw a custom grind cam at it..

on a dynojet it would be 380/420 ish

again..this coming from experience with previous vehicles

and again..in the past... my other cars...dyno on mustang dyno and dynocom...almost exactly the same...

dont be a hater..LOL

just realize that I'm twisting the tires off like I have a cam...and I dont have a cam..bone stock internals.

the fact that I break the tires loose on the highway at 65mph should tell you something...the torque curve is accurate..

Not trying to hate. I would love to believe that a bolt-on LS1 could make those numbers, but I don't see how it can put down 60 more rwtq than similar cars (based off your dynojet guess).

Either way, I'm sure it runs strong, man
