So...what upgrades are everyone doing over the winter...2009 goals? Only a few months until 2009 racing season is upon us...whats everyone doing to go faster 
My motor is currently at Va Speed...I'm changing intakes, having the heads reworked, converting to solid roller and changing gear ratios...should be adding a few hundred extra ponies
I'm looking for some solid high 7 second runs at over 180-185 mph
whats everyone else up too

well.....nothing anywhere near your realm but....
doin a Midwest fab 9" so i can finally put a tire on the car and see what it does. lookin for sub 10.5 and +140 traps.
than ill be needing the cage put in so....hint hint..

work sucks so bad right now and i raced so little last season do to lack of intrest, i might not even go back together this season. i say that now, come march april im sure my mind will change, but all i have to do put my motor back together. new rings bearings, im going to use all my other stuff. pistions, can etc etc etc. new timing chain and oil pump.
i traded my glide for a th400 and im going to get TEA 265 Trick flow 6 bolt heads.
im hoping to run 9.50 on motor and 8.50 on 100-150 shot.
im only cirt to 8.50 and cash flow for a 25'5 isnt going to happen so im stuck at 8.50, but id like to do it with as little spray as possable.
if i run 8.5 with 100-150 shot i know low 8's would be very possable with 250 or 300 which the car is built for.
other then that, im hoping to get a tire on my vett, and the ls7 clutch i have had sitting on my floor for over a year, i want new rims for my truck, and if i keep my checkmate im going to add some striping to it and more boom boom sound system stuff, if not im buying a baja.

Considering I bought the car practically at the beginning of 2008 racing season I'm just looking to learn how to drive the damn thing. I literally doubled the whp on the car from my first pass ever to the end of the season. Obviously my times were all over the place but I did end the season well into the 11s (thx Rick). 
Lots of mods to make it all better: Larger maggie snout/TB, fabricating a custom intake, new motor/tranny mounts, cutouts, new center section, 3.73's, some cosmetic touchups, under the hood bling, etc, etc.

I just placed my order for my Midwest Fab 9 and will have my 10 point going in the car in the next month or so. Gonna see how fast I can get the car to go as the motor is now before I get my meth kit and and install the 317 heads I got that I am gonna have ported.

Getting ready to put a QTP electric cutout on the car. When my tax returns come back I'm putting the cam setup in the car. Just finshed up with almost all the boltons. I wanna get as much as I can out of it before the cam.

Changing from a LS6 intake to a Fast.. Switching rear rims to something other than a 15X7 and might go up to a 28inch tire
Then off to find my DD a 10 second time slip..

Hoping to finally race this year. Im entering the third year that my car has been down. You name the issue, I've had it. Finally close to having the new engine in the car. If only the heads I ordered back in August would show up...
