If you search "boosted list" you should be able to find quite a few. For some reason the boosted list is not a sticky anymore but was in there with search. Not sure if there was a 2008 boosted list. It was great idea showing combos and in the later years requiring timeslips.

i have been up to 650rwhp with a cam/springs only 6.0 truck motor. that was awhile ago and that motor ran a long time. t76 front mount, 3"dp, 4l80e locked and thru a tcase.

with proper tuning and fuel a stock 6.0 is good for 600+rwhp for a very long time. not sure of the actual limit since i was always out of turbo. we have 2 stock 6.0 projects going on right now, one with twin 61's and the other with a single pt88. we plan on turning it up a little at a time till it lets go. i expect to see 8's and 700+rwhp before we run into a problem but you just never know.

i split my cylinder wall after a year or so at 1000-1100rwhp hundreds of runs at that level. i have heard 1200hp thrown out there often as the limit of a iron block

How many of you guys are running with a full/partial fill on the block? I would guess Fireball to be but who else?

655hp with forged bottom end. TC76, stock heads but patriot duals valve springs. A similiar setup built by Baker for a GTO is 800 plus on a stock bottom end.

Any modifications to help the block structurally? That's a lot of power.

I guess we'll see if the 6.0l iron block can hold more than 1200hp. In the past years, my block has NOT been filled. BUT this year we are going to do a half filled to help with the strength.

Built 370 here running 700ish rwhp (Out of Fuel), haven't had time to find a dyno yet. Maybe in a few weeks.

i am sure the block fill will help a ton. seems like that would have taken care of the problem i had.

i talked to kurt urban awhile back about diferent power levels. the one thing i remember him saying was around 1200hp they were starting to see signs of the block starting to flex. scuff marks between the block and the oil pan. stuff like that. at the time they sold a billet main cap girdle that tied the caps, block, pan.. all together. now it is just cheaper to step up to an lsx block.

my 6.0 block was .030 over. it had hundreds of runs at around 1000rwhp and lasted quite awhile. that was with 10sec pulls in a 5000lb truck. with block fill and a lighter car who knows how long it will last or what might give next.

how do you plan on keeping the heads down? doesn't that problem creep in about the same power level. i was under the impresion that to hold 1500hp you would need some special work to the heads and bock or these days step up to the lsx block with 6 bolts.

Forged bottom end. 1089rwhp was the most. Drove around on 922rwhp for over 2 years.

I didn't run any fill last year at 1200+ rwhp...

A little birdie told me that some hardblok made its way into a certain LS2 block for 2009 though

Nope...and it showed no classic signs of block flex either when we tore it down
