I also managed to get my Classic Dash installed, that was way bigger project than I had anticipated lol. I am pretty happy with the end result but for what one of these dash's cost I would've expected the fit to be better.
At the end of one engine dyno pull it blew the charge pipe off after releasing the throttle so I decided it was also time to upgrade my BOV. Went with the newer style Turbosmart Race Port. Pretty simple changeover, cut the old flange off and fitted up the new one then had my welder buddy tig it up. The new flange had twice the inlet size so that should make a difference.
Evidence it has been out on the street's haha

Lets knock the dust off this thread lol
Thanks dirtylark71, I really like the dash too.
Picking up where I left off I owed you guys some engine dyno stuff.
My mess cobbled together to make it work on the dyno.
Ended up making 814hp/790tq on ~11psi and 91 octane pump gas
Put some Sunoco 110 in the tank and turned it up to ~15psi and it put out 954hp/943tq. The torque number is skewed to the highside though because of how high we started the pull and how the dyno loaded it at that point, it made another psi or two at the beginning of the pull.
I stopped at 15psi because I didn't have any other wastegate springs with me and we ran out of time. Sucks because it was soo close to the elusive 1000hp but I know there was more in it. I also didn't want to bend any rods before I got it in the car haha.
I got it up and running and was immediately impressed with the power difference from the 5.3 to the 6.0 at the same boost level. I put 150 miles or so on it around town to make sure everything was good to go. Then the wife and I took it on a 3 hour drive to her parents for the annual car show in their little home town. Due to a wedding the same weekend I wasn't able to actually put it in the show, but it was a good feeling finally being able to drive it to the event this year. Plus we got to cruise up with 8 other muscle cars
I got a couple pics from the drive, but didn't realize till the weekend was over that I didn't get a single pic of all the cars together. .
I was also given the chance to switch wheels at a really good deal so I did lol, I went with the Ridler 695's with 18x8's up front and 18x9.5's out back.
My old Nitto 555R drag radials were done after the first track outing this year so I stepped up and got a set of the Mickey Thompson Pro's 275/60R15.
Swapping more wheels and tires around, I feel like this part never ends
Had some fun with this super snake on the way to a local show.
Look at the shine on that hood!
That's as far as I have uploaded pictures so far, I will try to get another update on here next week.

Car is really looking good! It's come a long way since you first got it together. Making sick power now and it looks like you are really getting around to cleaning up all the small details. Nothing better thank taking a nice drive to enjoy all the hard work you put into these cars. Nice job!

Man, I am encouraged by those dyno #'s, since our engines are close-I pulled the 6.0 over the winter and had it bored, balanced, stock crank, gen 4 rods and forged flat tops, but they have deep valve reliefs.
I had Jose send me a 1.00 housing to replace my 1.25, def spools quicker, since mostly street use-first and second are useless, lol

What rear gear and tire size do you run?
Yep, factory rails and regulator. Siemens 80lb injectors, they require a spacer in between the rails and intake to fit the taller Siemens injectors.

A couple days after the car show I took the shuvel over to the new wheel dyno in town to verify my tune for race gas, as I was planning on heading to the track that weekend. Things went pretty well considering that this was my first time on a wheel dyno.
Now for the results, at ~15PSI it put down 748hp and 681 ft/lbs. That was a 3rd gear pull with torque converter unlocked. We tried lockup a couple times but it messed up the graph's. The tune needed some fuel pulled out compared to the engine dyno, but I expected that as it now was running through the full exhaust system. I wasn't able to turn it up anymore because just like before I ran out of time on the dyno, but I was definitely happy with the results and it was a fun experience.
All loaded up, ready to head for the track.
Spent the night at Trickle's place and finally did some street tuning on his LeMans ... Glad to see this thing hit the road, he put in a ton of hours and did virtually everything himself, including the paint. The garage paint job looks damb good too!
Cool pic from the staging lanes
Godzilla was there lol
It was a zoo at the track that night and I was only able to make 3 passes, only 2 of which were full passes.
First pass ~10psi, let out a little before the finish line cause I realized I was gonna go to fast for no cage...didn't matter too late lol
2nd pass was testing launch only and it spun...still struggling with this. Hoping to make some suspension changes this winter if time and $ allow.
3rd pass ~15psi, felt great right up to the 1/8 mile, after that could feel it not pulling as hard.
Looking at the datalog, it started aggressively pulling timing at the 1/8 mile mark because the IAT was climbing fast. First issue is I forgot to soften the IAT timing retard table up for the race fuel and second I believe I am starting to find the performance limit of this ebay intercooler. I have already ordered a second IAT sensor and plan to datalog pre-intercooler temps vs post to see what's really going on.
All in all, it was another good weekend at the track, setting a new personal best and another learning experience from my mistakes.

Nice dyno numbers and decent times for the first time out with the new combo! You can see it fell flat on the top end. You only picked up 23mph after the 1/8. Get that top gear issue sorted out and get that 60' into the 1.4's and you may be knocking on the 9 second door on 15 pounds!

Thanks guys, yeah the goal is to get a set of Viking DA's on there to help that 60 foot time. Just not sure which route I'm gonna go, contemplating a 9 inch swap this winter and thinking of going coil-over while I'm at it but not sure if I can swing that all at once.
