I am not there yet but I'll be running a SD tune all the time. From my understanding, if you have a good tune you won't have to tweak for temp changes unless you are after that 1-2% spot on tune. This is what the IAT sensor is for. I am not tuning my car so I hope I am right, it will be a one time deal once everything is broken in.

BTW, for FI I highly recommend the 2-bar SD mode of operation. It makes for smooth power increase cause you can tailor the VE table for part-boost cells. On the dyno the HP/torque curve looks more like a N/A car than a FI car. No sudden hp/torque spikes or oscillations that are the norm in 1-bar SD or MAF modes.

Ive noticed that if the car is tuned at a certain IAT, depending if the IAT goes up or down will determin if the car runs lean or rich @ WOT.At least on my car anyways...

My 93 LT1 Camaro was speed density.
My bike has no closed loop operation either, no o2s so I assume is a speed density set up? I have tuning software and hardware for it also "powercommander" affliated with Dynojet. I've taken it from Florida 90+ degree weather at sea level to GA 50 degree weather over 3,000 feet above sea level with no problems. So I'm assuming our cars with SD should be fine if the tune is done correctly. Thanks for your replies.

You sig says you are running out of fuel with your Racetronix pump.
Another LS1 M6 guy up in Boca says his Racetronix pump wasn't enough either, but guys I talked to with Walbros pushing forced induction say they are good with one Walbro up to 600hp. I'm wondering if Racetronix pump is an issue.
Anyway, I would like to meet up and check out your set up. I just got mine installed a couple weeks ago and still need to finishing tuning. I'm waiting on two pins to run my wideband to my EGR plugs in the ECU.
