Thumbs up Turbo setup nearing completion

The boys down at EPP are doing my turbo build.

Just a little background first.Motor is a forged 383 with compstar crank , rods, diamond pistons.Compression around 8.5-1 .Top end is untouched afr 205's .Cam is a baby 224/228 cam on a 114.Vic jr intake with elbow and fast 90 throttle body.Turbo is an OFI kit with an s-85 turbo with 4" downpipe.96lb injectors with a nasty stage 2 race kit fuel system.Tranny is a stage 4 4l80e from FLP, with a PI converter.Rear end is moser 9" with 3.70 gears.Tons of bmr suspension components. Its been a long road but finally am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.Just waiting on a few odds and ends. Here is a link to some pictures. They are a few weeks old but Bob was supposed to post some updated ones soon.

That muffler is holding us up, I hope it shows up soon! We would of ordered it sooner had we known exactly what we needed. Bob

Well it might be modest but i have not seen this combination before.383 with an s85 with 4" downpipe and exhaust.I am not going to be one of those guys that say i am looking for 1000rwhp>after all it is through a 9" and a 4l80 big power robbers.I am looking more for what it does in the 1/4 .

That is funny, because thats what Jake said when i dropped my car off at EPP.The people i live around are real **** and have nothing better to do than complain about the sound a car makes in the morning(leave for work at 5) so the more i can quiet it down the better.Dont' know how much a 4" in and out muffler with a turndown right before the axle will be but atleast i can tell the cops it has a muffler.LOL
