Default Where to mount FPR?

This is not a plumbing question, just wondering where you guys are physically putting the regulator.
I'm gathering parts for the system, but not sure where to mount the regulator.

Let's see some pics!

Since I used my stock EVAP line as my return line, I just bought a quick connect fitting that has a -6 AN on the other end and mounted my FPR right onto the hard line coming off the frame rail.

Kind of hard to see in these pictures, but you get the idea…

Cool idea, I'm going to be using the evap line as the return also. I have the quick connect fitting to -6 an fitting already, I'll have to see if the regulator I got will fit on top of the line. What regulator are you using?

I went with the 13155 FPR. It is the same as the 13105 FPR, just all shiney (Plus I don't want any RED in my engine compartment) It also already has all the fittings included with it. I did have to take it apart to move the bracket to the other side so it would face the right direction, but thats easy.

The EVAP line is a 5/16" quick connect, and the feed line is a 3/8" quick connect, so make sure you got the correct size. I used the Aeromotive 15117 for the return line to mount to the FPR, and I used the Aeromotive 15118 for the feed line with a -8 to -6 adapter so I can use -6 line for now, and I can upgrade to a -8 in the future if I ever want to on the feed side without changing the quick connect fitting.

This sounds like a realitively easy and cost saving way to get a return style fuel system! I understand what needs to be done on the engine side, but how are you modifing the tank side for this to work?

Sorry for the

tie the evap into the return line on the tank, there is something that needs to be plugged also. Then leave the piece of evap line left on the tank hanging for a vent.

I couldn't find the quick connects on jegs, I got some different ones, but they're basically the same.
