Default full bolt-on owners only please

is there anyone else that has similar numbers to mine in my sig. and get about 100 more miles to a tank when the a/c is on and you drive economical on the freeway/highway? i've gotten to just over 500 miles once to a tank almost none stop at night with my a/c on crusing at 80mph steadily.

I've never come close to 500 miles to the tank.

I figure I'd get around 280-300/tank non stop on the highway at about 80mph.

I had a 98, so my tank was a bit smaller, and I got around 200-210 mixed driving per tank.

I say you can hit 450 in a 6spd. But you have to fill up, get on the highway drive steady, untill you run dry.

i've driven from texas to michigan a few times. the most i've ever gotten when my car was stock with just a lid was 320 miles to a tank. are you sure you didn't sprinkle a little fairy dust in the tank when you filled up?

The furthest I have ever went on a tank was 440 coming back from California, and that was an extremely full tank, ran almost below the empty line, lol.

BTW, it is a 98 M6 Trans Am with full bolt-ons.

I've gotten 250 miles in my 98 just cruising at about 80mph with the A/C on, I do alot of highway traveling during the summer for work. 500 is Prius territory, you got a gerbil in that thing or something, damn!

You would of have had to average 32mpg from start to stop to get 500 miles out of a tank.

The best I have ever seen with huge tailwind was 29mpg in mine.

i dont have full bolt ons, only lid/longtubes/dual cutouts..... i dynoed 352/360 with the cutouts closed..... i only get about 250 miles tops. i mean full tank and nothing but highway with the cruise on. this damn thing sucks gas..... with the cutouts closed, i might be able to get another 20 or 30 miles out of it, but nothing major. and this was before i put the rear end and gears in, im probably worse off now. i dont know how you were able to get 500 miles out of yours with the a/c on.

I know you bolted on 4 tornados and double stacked your K&N filters.I bet you have to stop every 200 miles and let a little gas out so you can get rid of the evap system SES lite.

I'll take some of that magical dust if I could get 500 mpg in my TA. With the dust I could get close to 600 mpg in the Altima. Where do I get the Magical dust?

Well I remember when mine was stick breaking the 400 barrier a couple of times, and that was filling up completely and just going slowely on the highway usually behind someone- that was when gas was 3+.
