im thinking of buying installing one of those

muffler like Dynomax bullet mufflers ,magnaflow,BORLA’s XR-1

Or instead of this just put Cut-Outs after the manifold

I have the EXACT same one from WS6 store sitting in my living room right now. It is waiting to go on in spring time

Install the cut out in the I pipe. The location of the I pipe to install it is right under the passanger back rear seat

cut-outs sound like dump truck. get a good flowing muffler and you will get great flow and great sound.

+1^^^^^^

i would buy some 1 chamber flowmasters..... sound AMAZING and you can get the knockoffs for about 35 bucks..

o btw, dont put two cut outs right off the manifolds..
put it after the y pipe comes back in... you only have to buy one, and it will do just as good (better than what you were going to do..)

keep in mind, everyone has a cutout....

no i have a tr224 but i dont have a cut out and never will. some local guys here have them and i just plain dont like the way they sound. my duals are just as loud but the tone is deeper and more refined(their opinion as well). the guys that have the cutouts seem to like them but they also want me to help them fab up some true duals for their cars one day....go figure. i know cut-outs are well liked here but i honestly thought for the OP that a muffler was a better choice.

Everyone? I guess that means everyone, except me.

yeah a muffler will give you a better sound, but i would rather have the 3-5hp with a cutout...if you want max power get a cutout...really if you wanted to you could even do both...

i like my car quiet on the street, but if i want to it can sound like a prostocker with the flip of a switch, i still have the stock z28 catback...

dump truck i think not

i would much rather lose to 2 HP and pick it up somewhere else..

OR..

the weight you save with dumps, is going to match that 2 hp you get with your cutout..

and sound 10X's better in my opinion..

personal preference i suppose.... i think most though once they go with something like a 1 chamber, they wont be going back.

yeah preference is right i would never drive around with a cam and true duals...just to much drone, from me i can choose at the flick of a switch (loud or quiet)...

and then let my jl audio's and mcintosh sing...

No dump truck here. My car has a flowmaster on it and when the cutout is closed it is definatly a lot harder to hear the lope from the cam.
