Yes, it will fit as long as you whack off the ribs on the bottom of the intake.

WHAT THE F?

Any LS6 manifold will fit the LS1 without modifying

not totally right, he was right about choping the ribs of to clear the coolant lines. other wise you have to remove them and plug the rears.

All LS6 intakes from 2001-2004 are interchangeable with any year LS1 engine.

I wouldn't waste the time sanding down the bottom of the intake. You can make your own block offs for the rear and cross-over tube for the front by simply modifying the stock 98-00 tubes.

How exactly do you modify the tubes so the bottom doesnt have to be sanded?

No sanding necessary. You just take a hammer and chisel and whack the ribs off that go over the coolant line pathways. Takes about 10-15 and it's fun besides

There's no risk in damaging the intake by just breaking off the tabs? I just picked up an ls6 intake for $180 with low miles and it came with rails and injectors . So I'm not trying to mess up a good buy!

Yeah there is a risk but if you use common sense while doing it you'll be fine.

Took me all of five minutes to do mine

RETAIN the rear cooling lines.

Using a sharp wood chisel and a small hammer, gently shave off the ribs.

It's in the video in this thread I found in a search:

As the others said yes it will fit just fine. I have one from and 04 gto on my 00 TA right now with no issues. Just shave the ribs with a grinder or use the chisel method.

Keep the coolant crossover. #7 needs all the help it can get IMO.
