Default Tsp stainless ypipe help

I put my stainless steel ypipe on with a buddy and the drivers side sucks. I can only put 3 fingers between the pipe and ground. Iv read all the threads and none have really helped. I'm on v6 springs up front stock in the back.

put the car on jack stands
get under the car with a jack, a block of wood, and a rubber mallet
loosen all of the clamps but don't remove them
use the jack with the block of wood to push the exhaust up and hold it
give it a couple of good taps near all of the connections with the rubber mallet
tighten all of the clamps back
lower the jack
you'll be good to go

the lowest part should be right under the driver's seat.....that's just how aftermarket pipes are......my catted y-pipe actually sits a little bit lower to the ground than my true dual kit did.......the duals tucked up nicely.....

either way, i'd still rather have the flow and sound of aftermarket than the flattened stocker y-pipe

is your car lowered?......mine is almost 2" lower than stock, and underneath looks exactly the same

maybe loosen it all up again and try to put the jack + block of wood back near the merge, raise it and re-tighten

I'll try again tomorrow it's 1:30. I work in the morning. Oh I need rear catback hangers. Where do I get oem replacement ones?

i'm not sure about oem stock ones, i would say any muffler shop or any of the big three auto parts stores would be able to get them....since i've got a small welder, i always use j-hook hangers, like these on ebay, you can mount them pretty much anywhere you want a little extra support......just two bolts into the car, raise the exhaust as high as you want it, then throw a heavy tack weld to the pipe or muffler and you're good

looks to me like you need to turn the pipe that comes off the drivers side header a lil bit so it dosent angle down so much. my tsp y dosent hang near that low and im lowered.

Agreed the first pipe on the driver side needs to be adjusted some more and then tweak the rest accordingly. This ypipe tucks up nicely when installed correctly. If you do a search you should be able to find some pics I posted up of an install I did and how well it tucks.

I found the pics you posted aaron but you never posted one of he drivers side only passenger side.

When I adjust the first pipe it is up against the floorboard and vibrates making my knock sensors go off lol.

Also Aaron what hanger is supposed to be used for the over the axle part of the tsp rumbler?

you need to pull the pipe off the header a lil an turn the pipe counter clock wise so it fits in the cut out in the frame. you have plenty of room.

yes, you need to make the pipe fit in the cut out where i circled. there is a good inch and a half of clearance to be had there.

Its recessed where the flat part of the stock y setup fit. If you look there are actually two cut out spots that flow with the way they y should go.
