Arrow '04 GTO/Corvette 160* T-Stat

Any sponsors carry the 160* Thermostat for the '04 GTO/Corvette yet? I need one asap.

FYI - The '04 GTO/Corvette waterpumps are different and they use a different thermostat than the '98-'02 thermostats.

Thanks
Ever

Vinci has a 170 for the 04 w/p. ---------------------------------------------------->>>

Pretty pricey at $99 though.

There was some speculation that with the t-stat being separate from the housing you could use an LT1 t-stat in the existing housing. Don't quote me on that because I don't know for sure - but there was a thread saying it somewhere around here.

Most people don't see anything out of the
177F ("160") coolant temp vs the 194F
("180") stock pivot point, but do from the
fan settings to enable that point to be held.
I think unless mad boost or higher-than-
'02 compression ratio is in the picture
this will remain true for the newer models

The new LT1 thermostats are a little smaller and won't fit. I already have the fans tuned for the 160*. I had my waterpump replaced under warranty and hence the need for a new '04 thermostat. Thanks Nate I'll have to order one asap.

Thanks
