The merge is not very sophisticated, there was a lot of
excess pipe sticking in on mine and the turn is near 90
degrees with some reversion up the other side looking
likely. Also does not tuck up all that well on mine, though
maybe some quality time with the floor jack will fix it.
The cats are cute (insert inside the pipe) if you want to
say you have cats; they are small, metallic and blow
out often esp. for people with forced induction (more
heat, I guess).
But pipe is pipe and most look similar, except the QTP
(much better merge) which has its own tuck-up

The merge on the Magnaflow y-pipe is crap. Hell mine broke in half. It doesn't tuck up well and if you aren't running cats there are a bunch of useless pieces you need to clamp (I welded them) together. If you know someone good have them make you a custom y-pipe with a nice merge. The custom y completely changed the tone of my exhaust and the rasp and mechanical noise is almost gone.
