wow nice work... can't even tell there was ever a port there, you had to remove the egr one also right? cuz those headers only come with egr/air.... im still waiting on mine to come in but the quality of the header looks good right?

There were three ports on them I removed all three.

omg no one shoot me, but what all did you do to weld them up and polish them back up?

I cut them off then ground them down smooth then took them to a local welding shop and they put a puddle weld over the hole then I ground them back down smooth then polished them up. You can see the bottom one I just had them weld a plate over it since you can't see it.

what did you use to polish them up?
also how much did the shop charge you?

I started out with a grinder to grind the weld down and shape it to match the curve of the pipe. Then I switched to a sanding disc with 150 grit paper and shaped it the rest of the way. Then just went with a couple of finer grits to get rid of the sanding marks then used a polishing wheel and polishing compound to buff it out. The finer you sand it the less you have to buff.

The welding shop charged me $40 to puddle weld the two top ones and weld a plate on the bottom one. I made the plate myself for the bottom one to save alittle money.
