Default ~Exhaust Help~

Ok im looking for a good exhaust set up that DOES NOT sound raspy! i hate that...now i was doing some research on ls1sounds.com and i like the magnaflow and hooker setups with NO cam...are these good exhaust set ups? Is there anything with more grumble? Also how do they sound with cams?

EDIT: Also i dont want to hear any drone if possible and i want to actually be able to hear people in the car

No Rasp, SLP Dual/Dual
Low rumble, Magnaflow
The Flowmaster sounds good if you dont mind the 20+ rwhp restriction. I just bypass mine with a cutout when I need the power. OK I lied, the cutout has been open since it was put on the car. I was thinking of switching to Magnaflow though.

Good luck Anyting loud enough to hear from a distance will be loud all around. And loud=rasp and drone.Best bet would be a decent cat-back like the Magnaflow or Hooker and install a cut-out.

I can carry on a full conversation in my car with duals dumped... not EVERY dual setup is unbearably loud. Outside the car you can hear me coming.

It seems like you want the best of both worlds so id just keep the stock catback and get a cutout. That way the car can be quiet or loud. If you seach you will get ALOT of info on a cutout, but basically it bypasses the stock muffler to add HP and sound

well not really i had an 00GT and had flowmaster catback and was really loud, and had like 100rpms worth of drone...not that bad, and i could still carry on a conversation...(except when racing! that thing roared! )
