Default Gains from ported TB?

I am trying to figure out what to do next. I have a lid, free ram air mod, LTs, and cat-back. What kind of gains would I be looking at with a ported TB? Should I just start saving for a cam?

there is a thread on here, where a guy claimed 11 rwhp gain from a ported TB.

I ported mine and did the bumpstop mod, both where a noticable difference.

Dont expect a ported TB to be a huge difference, just because you are porting the TB, the intake opening and TB opening size does not change.

save the $150 that a ported TB cost and place towards a cam. Port and polish the TB yourself. Its easy and do the bumpstop mod!

Actually, I've seen a dyno showing 8rwhp on an otherwise stock (Lid) LS1. The reason I love mine, is the throttle response. It's worth every penny.

I did back to back dyno runs before and after mine (Texas Speed)and gained 0 rwhp & 0 rwtq. My stocker did open 100% already though. For the cost I would do an Underdrive pully. I did the SLP and gained 14rwhp & 12 rwtq.

Impressive.
I'm guessing this was with the bump stop mod too?

So would I be looking at about 5-10 hp with bolt-ons or with a cam?

its shaving the throttle stop, it allows the plate to open more, because the plate doesnt exactly open all the way during WOT......TB porting gains are typically 5-7 on stock cars, like bo's chart.....i added a ls6 manifold and got about 10 from it
