Default Getting a set of TEA heads

I have a 01 Trans Am M6 and I am getting a set of TEA stage 1.5 5.3 heads milled .015 and I wanted to know what cams people are running with these heads and what kind of numbers you are seeing.

I have at TR220-114. No heads yet but you picked the ones that will be on my car next spring.

228 duration and under are ideal for those heads.

Our 1.5 heads have been making KILLER power with a Comp Grind we use. It's a 230/226 .573/.570 on a 112. This has made 437 through a 10 bolt on our dyno and has made 408 through an A4 on our dyno. Normally anything in the high 220 to low 230 range in duration is the key to a good Street/Strip setup with our heads. We like to keep the split 4 degrees or less reverse or standard.

Hmm. So, the logic here is that the stock exhaust valve found in the 1.5 warrants less need for large exhaust duration on a cam? Hence, the reverse split?

I have an early set of TEA stage 2's and they really like the Thunder Racing TR230/224. See sig.

The cam I was looking at is the F11 228/230 .581 .591 112 + 4 and I was wondering if I could install a set of 1.75 or 1.85 rocker arms?

Are your pistons flycut?

Since you are getting an F11, you should call talk to Allan at Futral about rocker arms. He will ALWAYS suggest stock rockers, as he hasn't seen any gains on a dyno with aftermarket rockers and often encounters problems after 6400 rpm with them.
