Anyone run a 112 LSA with an A4???

Default Anyone run a 112 LSA with an A4???

I know alot of people run 114 LSA or better.....any disadvantages of running somethin like a 112 or tighter?

I run a TR 224 on a 112, no issues here

f14 on a 112, no problems, even drove it around before the tune and stall

The LSA of a cam, with no other information given, is a completely useless comparison. You need to look at it on a cam by cam, grind specific basis.

Read the cam guide sticky and SEARCH.

Exactly. Overlap is what will make the cam idle and drive like **** in an automatic. Too much overlap, ususally from big duration and narrow LSA will provide very little vacuum. As an example, a 220/220 110 LSA cam will have much better manners than a 234/234 114 LSA cam in an A4.

10* overlap and above gets harder to tune but not impossible.
Tuner experience is a ++

The cam in my truck is on a 108 LSA.
No biggie, it runs fine... Infact is was doing quite well w/ a MAF on the stock tune. However, the cam only measures -3* of overlap @ .050'' due to small seat/seat and .050'' duration.

The link in my signature has an idle clip.

we just put a torquer on a 112 in nrayome98ta's auto bird. that cam is pretty sweet. it drives good and makes lots of low end power.
