Why the compstar crank and their billet rods, and not compstar / compstar or dragonslayer / billet rods?

Had a great deal on the billet rods that I could not pass up. Besides rods are the weak link most often, correct?

Just gotta word from BP Automotive. The wiring harness should be here this coming week. And as mentioned, I'm working on a narrowed Strange S60 with 35 spline axles, spooled 4.30 gearing and new Strange rear brakes. I'm also looking on a complete new set of wheels, especially due to the narrowed rear--3" per side. She mind as well look good going down the track with a new set of wheels.LOL.

Wiring harness arrived today.
Bill at BPAutomotive's quality workmanship is second to none, as you can see in these pics.

Why not? It's good to 8000+ rpm. And I do have an excellent tuner. Besides, this is not a full tilt racecar.

New narrowed rear and new set of wheels/tires are on their way as well!

The ATI hub with a gilmer type pulley and the custom bracket is specifically made to work with a either a 3 or 4 vane Moroso vacuum pump.

What's the mounting position going to be? Seriously considering the GX Motorsports setup. Going to monitor how it's doing with the Norris Motorsports catch can and RX clean side separator for awhile first.

Hopefully will be on the dyno in the next couple weeks.

With a AC replacing low mount like that, I don't see why someone wouldn't just step up to a multi stage dry sump setup, aside from cost mainly.

Cost was it for me. Couldn't swing $3-5k on a dry sump. Made quite a few oiling miss that will be more than acceptable for my use I believe. Once I get some track time I'll verify.

Yeah I've got to keep the A/C but they make an upper passenger head mount I might go with.
