Procharger install
I am installing this kit that I bought off a member here. It looks to me that the label is on the opposite side of all the other p1sc1 that I see on here. The oil drain is not on the bottom and the label is not facing up. Is the clocking off? I called procharger and they said the headunit is for a Ls1 vette so it should work. Here is the link for the pics.

The problem I am having if you look at MadIceV8's pic my label is located on the opposite side of his. This makes me think the clocking is incorrect. According to EPP's clocking guide the vette and F-bod chargers are clocked the same. When I called procharger they told me my headunit is for an LS1 vette so I dont understand what could of happened.

The rotation of the Corvette and the F Body blowers are indeed the same. The bolts around the perimeter can be loosened up to rotate the outlet to where it needs to be properly positioned. Was the blower sent back to ProCharger to have it inspected or rebuilt by the previous owner before you purchased it? ProCharger reclocks the blowers to install them on their testing machine, and they don't all get reclocked (repositioned) to where they will fit when they are sent back. I have received a lot of calls from ProCharger customers asking why the blower doesn't fit, when this is the problem. Bob

Thanks for the response Bob, I bought a lot of stuff from you guys for the 8 rib conversion. I was told the blower was new so I dont think it was ever sent to Procharger. I know the outlet can be rotated but I was concerned that the oiling will be not be correct because the label says it needs to be facing up. The label is opposite side and i dont know if this makes a difference, but the blower fits fine in the bracket.

not sure what kind of car your working on, but on a self contained procharger, the drain plug has to be at 6 o'clock for the oil pump to work correctly-i use a vette setup on my chevelle, and the name tag is upside down, not sure why they do that, i guess their all put on the same way and when the housing gets rev for the vettes thats how it is
i looked at the add, didnt see where it stated what kind of car the s/c was for? from the serial #, Procharger should know what kind of setup its for, having said that, i have gotten them setup wrong
