Default anyone with pacesetters and duals come in.

ok, stupid question but ill ask it anyway. what are you guys using to secure your duals to your header collectors since theyre a "slip fit". obviously on headers such as hooker youd just weld another 3 bolt flange onto the duals and bolt it up. so im wondering what you guys used/what needs to be done. thanks.

i used band clamps...they blow v bands are much better

so just some sort of band clamp? whatever works best, i could easily try a few different ones, theyre cheap it wont hurt. ill see what a few more people say first too. thanks guys.

you could also weld on a 3-bolt flange if you wanted too?

On my friend's car, we used 3 and 1/8" stepped to 3" band clamps that Napa special ordered.

makes it a bitch to do head work, etc..

i had band clamps i was going to use for mine but i just drove the car wit straight headers to the exhaust shop and had everything welded up it came out good

These are also what I used! Just make sure to put a bead of ultra copper on the inside of the band clamp befor you tq them down.

anyone of you guys with tds want to do me another huge favor, my cars in storage right now and will need to be worked on asap once i get it out (bottom end getting rebuilt) and if anyone has anyone dimensions lengths writeups etc on making your duals could they pm them. while the cars getting fixed i want to put together my duals set up in welding class in school. i just dont want to throw anything together and not have it fit because of wrong lenths/bends etc.
