Default Lsx 302?

Ive been planning on swapping in a LQ9 in my 95 Z/28 this winter, but after reading about GM's concept 302 camaro it got me thinking. I cant find a hole lot about building one. my question is, is it as easy as taking a 5.3 and using a 4.8 crank? any input would be great.

just bore 4.8 .060= 5.0
throw on some 243 or 799, ls6 intake, gt11 cam. al supporting bolt ons, etc.
4.8 is a great engine, rpms very quick, sounds good, runs hard even in pu trucks

Why give up all that power by reducing displacement?

funny how they call it "high reving" then quote a HP peak at 6000 RPM. My 6.0 does better than that.

If they want to stay true to the spirt of the early Camaros, how about shaving a few thousand pounds off the cars instead?

Why not keep the 5.3 as it is?

You get another 4.8!!!! The only difference between the two is the crank! The bore is the same!!!

Why not swap the 4.8l crank in the 6.0l and have a fast rev'ing 5.3L!

will have to use 4.8 rods as well with balanced 4.8 crank to new 4.00+bore pistons.
