EastCoastEngines,AutoComputerTech,musclesportsandi mports,Jeff Robert "Fruad" I am posting this to keeps others from being taken by Jeff Robert. I sent my harness and ecu to Jeff robert 851 Knox Cave Road Altamont, NY 12009 on July 27th 2008. A month and a half ago today, he said that he was done and when asked about it he said he just hadn't mailed it yet. In the end he has just stopped reponding. Two months ago I had contacted a law firm in albany and they said that they would take my case. Of course once he heard this he made all kinds of promises. I just sent him my last email and last phone call.
Today he replied "Idk, After seeing that stuff you posted up everywhere I think I wont be going to the post office anytime soon. What do you think?"
If you have been taken by him, send me an email and I will send you the complaint form from NY Attorney General office and the address.

F*** THIS GUY!
I also have been nailed by this guy, I stopped doing buisness with him 2 YEARS AGO when he was using the name "AUTO COMPUTER TECH" on Ebay. He F'ed up 4 computers for me, and burned me for the last one all together. THEN JUST LAST MONTH.....I purchased a throttle body on ebay from "EAST COAST ENGINES".....and he never shipped it. Was supposed to be shipped 1 day priority mail. 5 WEEKS LATER.........no Throttle body, no contact, no returned calls, no email responses......NOTHING. I had to file a paypal dispute to even get him to call me back. Then he promised that he would ship it "today....just please remove the paypal dispute.....i have it in my hands ill ship it". SO.....like a idiot who should have known better from my previous experience with the dude.....i removed the paypal dispute, and guess what? Another week goes by, no package. I call and call and call and email, no response. I call from a different phone number and a "alter-ego"....and BAM! Immediate call back. I confronted him, and he tells me "big deal dude....your gonna smear my name over a stupid $80 part......what are you gonna do threaten me over the phone?!" REAL PROFESSIONAL. I told him to just refund the money, and that if I had known that he, JEFF ROBERTS, was "East Coast Engines" i would have never even purchased the part, since he burned me multiple times 2 years ago. He said he couldnt refund, that he didnt even have $80 to his name. I told him "you mean to tell me east coast engines, Auto Computer Tech, Muscle Sports and Imports, or whatever the F*** the other 10 buisness names you operate under dont collectively have $80 between them?" ANYWAYS.......i got my throttle body today, it just took 7 weeks of kicking, screaming, threatening, paypal account disputing, and calling from various different phone numbers. Sorry to run on at the mouth...BUT I CANT STRESS ENOUGH! AVOID JEFF LIKE THE PLAGUE! I was going to get one of these packages but decided to go w/ a guy in SC. His rating under this name is @ 100% positive... I'm still glad, much more so now, I didn't buy from him.
I checked the contact phone number, they're the same.
edit: all of this feedback was for him as a buyer, not a seller. And he only bought nickle and dime ****... MAN I'm glad I didn't buy from this guy... $80 sucks to be out, I would have been an engine package worth of $$$ out. I would have to have made a little trip to NY and get my money's worth one way or the other.

That sucks to hear. I feel for anyone who is took by a fellow "enthusiast"...
I used Jeff for my harness little over a year ago and the transaction went well as did the transaction for a few others I referred to him. Not sticking up for him AT ALL what he is doing is wrong!! It's just crazy how intermittent people decide to screw customers over sometimes.

Lol i read that too. Awsome grammar, makes me wonder who would plop down 10-20k for a LS7 turn key motor from a guy who cant spell or even write sentences that abide by the structure of the English language. Jeff obviously got in over his head, and cant deliver the goods. Im sure he didnt start out to rip people off, but this time around it seems to be alot worse than it was 2 years ago. If u cant hold up your end of the bargain, dont sell it. At least refund peoples money if nothing else! He's in a bad game of "hide and go seek", spending money from one customer to finish another customers order from months ago, and avoiding phone calls and Emails all together because he cant produce what he sold till he gets the next suckers deposit $$$. That situation is only gonna get worse, and it cant last forever once word gets around about his poor buisiness ethics.

Take him to small claims court and file in NY. He will show up or loose the case, then you put a lien on his house or car to get the money. He will want to cooperate. Also BBB in NY will work the case against his company. They dont have enforcement authority but will put pressure on him and you can use it in court.
I went through this before, he will break down after a while.
I shot him an email at his company, just to stoak the fire. You cant go easy on guys like this!!

It makes me sad when people go into buiness with this attitude and pick and chose who they will help while taking money from anyone that comes along.
