I just took my 12 bolt out and replaced it with a stock 10 bolt (demodding to sell.) I should have weighed them. My back tells me the 12 is significantly more . I'm curious about this as well.

If someone knows stock 10 weight I can weigh my 12 bolt, it has the Eaton posi but that probably doesn't change it too much.

i can let you know in about 2 weeks...dont have the 12 bolt yet...even if the overall weight is heavier i bet you gain some back with the rotating weight of the aluminum spool, and in my case shortened 2" axles and light weight ring gear...

or at least i hope...

How did you get a stock internal to trap 116?

My spooled 12 bolt w/ fluid was lighter than my 10 bolt. But my 12 bolt is also narrowed 3 inches on each side. It was only by a couple pounds.

thinking of 5.5 backspace billet specialties, they run like 240 each but I am not liking the 16lb weight…still undecided might just keep the convos for the front and get new rears…I haven’t ran the math yet but I think I am going to be short of gear with 4.10s and 26”, can anyone show me the calculator, so 28” drag radials will be in order…

Choose your bolt ons well, get a good tire and converter, and wait for some good air...it would trap 114-115 or an average 0 to +1000 DA day...

on these runs it had the smaller ss3600 and hit the limiter a couple times...it had 11.3s in it...

My 10bolt was 149 IIRC, (stock 342 01') no rotors, but backing plates, Ebrake shoes. Check the thread I made about my S60 when I got it I weight them both and listed some parts weights. S60 was 196 I remember with the same parts on it. (373 truetrac, witch is heavy)

when i was SI went 114 with stock manifolds/and exhaust , just cats removed with 2.25
pipe.

yup me too went 115 with 100% untouched exhaust with just a cutout...

headers are overrated when SI...if i was going sleeper that would be the route i would go...that car doesnt even have headers how fast can it be...
