Exclamation question about this cam ?

i am building 408 cid , AFR heads 225 i have this cam XER287HR-12 is this a good cam for Supercharger engine ( procharger F1-C ,14 psi ) or can you tell me a better one .

Cam Style: Hydraulic roller
Basic Operating RPM Range: 2,800-7,200 RPM
Duration at 050 inch Lift: 238 int./240 exh.
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.605
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.609
Lobe Separation (degrees): 112

It is a OK cam. That cam on a 115 LSA or wider would be a good choice for a 408 CID motor.

I think lsa 114
It is a OK cam. That cam on a 115 LSA or wider would be a good choice for a 408 CID motor.
what The difference between 115 - 112 lsa ?

Check EPP Blower lots of cars are using it with procharger with 400+ci

Thanks, our 232/240 595/608 on a 115 works very well and doesn't bleed much boost out the exhaust valves. Bob

my old cam for 402 ci 232 240 590 599 114 ,

I think that cam is better than the 'new' cam. Though the old cam has slightly less intake duration, the wider LSA help out more.

I think that cam is better than the 'new' cam. Though the old cam has slightly less intake duration, the wider LSA help out more.
