Yes it's possible, and on average people see about 20-25 RWHP. You can probably find a good used one for about $150.00. The one from the 02+ years is the better cam.

It will work but you have to upgrade to at least LS6 springs.
Here is a good thread with a few people who have seen good numbers from this cam and boltons. These are definitely on the high end for dyno numbers but shows what is possible.

I speak from experience! DO NOT USE LS6 SPRINGS, use PAC1218'S....Dont mean to yell at you but I did the LS6 cam and spring swap and you see some top end power gain from it but there isnt a whole lot. I would use good valve springs with the LS6 cam so when you are bored with the cam and decide to go bigger you wont have to upgrade springs again like I did. I would agree 100% Why spend all that time and put a baby cam in there. There are nice cams that wont take away from DD and have alot more power.
