Default what solid motor mounts for a PA k-member?

i emailed PA and no responce. I have there k-member with the solid motor mount option but i dont know what ones to buy. The Spohn ones wont work because of how this k-member is. PA said something about there light weight mounts but its not on there site and no email respond. Anyone know what ones i need? MADMAN, got anything?

Heres what it looks like......

i dont think you can use a solid mount with that... looks like you would have to use a stock style, id go with a poly one though.... i could be wrong, i have pa k member too, but i have the one without the perches, so i can bolt on a set of solids.

im wondering if there talking about using this style...

http://www.umiperformance.com/catalo...products_id=74

wonder if the 4 bolt pattern is the same on the block. The guy i talked to from PA was really beating around the bush on what to use. Or use the stock style upper xhell and run a bolt through the 2.

yeah it looks like your mounts are made for stock replacement style. Mine has short stands where my Spohn ones mount to.

I would hope they do.

From your build I would wonder why not go with a plate.

Have you tried calling Jason? (owner of PA)

I used to work for him. Sometimes he get really busy and calling is the best way to get ahold of him.

That K-member has the motor mount stands built it, a Spohn or Madman set-up will not work on that... they are designed more for the stock K-member. I think a custom mount is about all you can do or run poly mounts.

Hope that helps,
Ryan

If you decide to go with a motor plate I have a brand new one from Madman listed in the classified section. Cut you a great deal

you will just have to make them yourself jerry. no one makes them but they are easy to make. i made the ones that were in my camaro and made some for my firebird also. i have an empty trans case and bare ls1 block that would make it easy for mock up that you can use.

that would suck *** if i had to make something, DEFF NOT WHAT I WANT TO DO! They made it seem like it was soooo easy... "run our solid motor mounts, take off like another 20lbs and more clearance!" NOTHING about not being able to find mounts. Ill be super pissed if they dont make something or designed it around something and i have to make something. Ill sell the ****** and buy a reg one. Shitty thing now is there closed till tues. WTF

they make the solid mounts but for the k-members that have the mounting pads similar to the stock k-member instead of the integrated lower mount like you have.

I ran in the 8s with poly mounts in my old car (it had the same k-member you have), I re-used the same mounts in this car (UMI K-Member with built in stands).

^ That's what I would do.

If you are stuck on the solid motor mount option there's a thread on here with pictures from a while ago. I remember 9sec93 posted some pictures.
