My first LS1, 02 ws6.
I purchased it about 2 weeks ago for $12,900 cash, I looked as far as 250 miles but didn't find anything remotely clean as this one, 2 owner, 66k miles, lady driven before me, ebony leather, bone stock with different exhaust tips, also garaged it's entire life.

I plan to add full exhaust & SLP Lid, I'm thinking,
Pacesetter LT's ( Coated )
TSP ORY & e-cutout
Magnaflow
And down the road Im thinking about a SS3600 stall, tranny cooler, and shift kit.
I'm waiting for a 6000k HID kit from ddmtuning for the fogs
Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks!

Looks great and your list also looks about perfect as far as your basic mods go. The magnaflow is one of the more quiet setups but stainless is nice to have. Might I recommend a Hooker Cat-Back with the exhasut tips currently on the car for a little more agressive sound with the L/T's.
But with the E-Cutout the magnaflow might be better so you can have both loud and tame at the same time.

I payed 12,500 for my 2000 WS6 last year with 69,000 miles. WS6's go for much more. I searched for a good year and a half. Regular trans ams, z28's, and even SS's with similar miles and year were around $8500 - $10,500. Every WS6 would be well over $12,000. It pissed me off.

But, cars seems to be a lot cheaper in Texas than other states.

Opps, fixed the grammar mistake, lol, i threw it up in a hurry, quite funny I must admit.
Thanks guys, and the Missouri market is crazy.. i checked all dealers around MO and they wanted 13,900 for a 2000 ws6 83k miles and 6 owners.. and 2002 ws6, NBM, 32k miles, for 17,900... and the crazy high prices go on from there, so it took me forever to find a car from a "private owner" worth my time, lots of craigs list and autotrader browsing.
I checked around IL and IA and surrounding states and found nothing in the shape I was looking for, either too far or had flaws.
You guys are forgetting it's a 2002, last of the breed, they always seem to fetch higher prices. It's also a ws6, as you know, far less made then SS's and oddly enough only a few around my area, most of which are part of my car club.
If i was in the market for a SS, I would have saved $2,000, I found many around $11,000, but I wanted a ws6, the fact it was garaged it's whole life made my decision pretty easy.

Thanks guys! can't wait for spring, I wanna take out the t-tops!
I also have a 88 formula, but I've been wanting an ls1 for like 3-4 years, lots of saving $$ for sure.
I ordered a SLP Lid to start things off, hopefully in two weeks I can have the exhaust finished, im having them throw on some NGK TR-55 plugs and MSD wires as well, thanks to this site I know know quite a bit about 4th gens.
I'm hoping I don't have to much rasp going with a ORY with my magnaflow, but it is a TSP Y, the merge looks pretty good, i'm sure there will be some rasp but who cares haha.
I need a clip of LT's, tsp ORY ( new one ) and magnaflow
