Default ls6 intake

Ok so I read up a little bit on the ls6 intake and have some questions.. I shouldn't have to alter anything, but the egr right? As long as I cut the bottom things off the ls6 intake I do not need the coolant pipes or rear coolant plugs right?

if u have stock manifolds you will need egr block off plates, and yes taking out the ribs underneath will let it fit right over the stock coolant crossover.

no they are individual rubber crush gaskets. there are 8, 1 per port, then a throttle body gasket of the same style.

If your car has an EGR valve, eliminating it will cause the PCM to set a code. It'll see it as "missing".
