Default H/C N/A LS1, going crazy, tr55 or tr6 plugs!!

So I have tr6s in right now, they were in because of some nos work but thats all gone now and back to N/A. Ive done TONS of reading on here and other LSx forums about this. SOme guys say for every 100 hp above stock and high compression go a step colder. Others say their 55s work unreal with their H/C cars.

So its about 50/50 on whats best for high compression N/A H/C LS1s. From tons of reading, it seems the tr6's should be gapped to 0.040 - 0.045 since its N/A and not running any juice. I think they come stock either 0.035 or 0.039.

I know the tr6s are safer as they run colder, but if overly cold they will foul. What do you guys think??? Some say the tr55s are getting close to their limit on hi compress H/C cars, others say they run beautifully.

Just for more info, im getting new plugs because I had a bad o2, so changing the plugs just in case the bad o2 fouled the plugs. I prob ran 1000-2000 miles with the bad o2, although there wasnt much WOT.

Honestly I've ran both Tr-55's and Tr-6's on my N/A motor. I have 8.8:1 dynamic compression so I changed over to the Tr-6's. Made absolutely no difference, but I do know the engine runs a little safer now. If someone tells you the Tr-6 is a nitrous plug you need not listen to them There are guys running 7-8-9 series plugs in their low compression turbo cars, I don't think they are fouling plugs out cruising around.

11.9 to 1 compression 346 here...gapped at .035 tr6...put down 485rwhp through locked a4 12 bolt

seems to work for me...also Patrick g's 500rwhp build uses the same tr6
