Did you replace the slave cylinder when you were inside the trans? Did you do the drill mod?

the drill mod is good and has proven to work, but an aftermarket master cylinder is a better choice if you want to drop the coinage for it.

Pushing that kind of power I'd say your hydraulic system needs to be upgraded. The Tick Performance adj. mc should correct that problem. As far as the drill mod I think I've read more that it didn't help than it did. Especially when you get to the power level your at.

Get yourself a Tick master cylinder. I make the same hp on motor as you and use the same clutch. I tried a brand new GM master with the drill mod and made it adjustable, but the clutch still would drag above 6600rpm. Put the Tick master in and now I powershift the wee out of it at 7000rpm. It's expensive, but worth it!

Tick m/c = fixed problems. I've explained it in a couple of threads but your are putting out too much power and the stock m/c doesn't push enough fluid to fully disengage the clutch.
