he actually says "we got alotta heat from the ford fan boys for matching a 426 hp chevy against a 315 hp ford.'
whats funny is both those cars should have done better than what resulted. so it still wasn't very accurate. the gt500 is capable of about a 12.3, and the SS 12.8.

so that crap he says at the end about foot per dollar margine is complete bs.

It's going to be interesting to see what these cars do at the strip. The LS3 will have the advantage once these cars are modified, since the aftermarket has been in production for many years. Also, the OHC motors take a little bit more time in labor for the average guy. You are also replacing multiple cams, valves if you go go NA.
My guess is the GT is going to still beat the SS at the strip in stock form, but modified, the GT will be behind a bit for the first couple years.

yeah a vette has never been a muscle car. its always been euro trash killer, which would make it a sports car...with some muscle
the ls3 is an outstanding power plant. i just think the 2010 camaro needs to go on a diet to really be competitive.

Agreed. We have to change the LCA's asap to stop this and then like a drugie looking for his next fix the mods seem to never stop
