Craig Gallant of GTP was one of the first head porters to modify LT1 heads in the early 90's. He's responsible for many f-bodys in the mid and low 11's at 118 to 120mph with the 306 cam with all the bolt-ons back back then. I'd snag those no questions asked. If your car is set up right you will not be disappointed.

Back before Lloyd Elliott and AI were on the scene, GTP, LPE, and CNC Cylinder Heads were the places to go to get your heads ported. In their day they were all top notch but AFAIK Lingenfelter is the only place of the 3 still going. GTP's stage III heads were the best they offered. I had a running buddy who had a set of their heads and he was more than satisfied with them.

Craig was arguably one of the best head porters available at the time.
His business is still around, but they are not as big on the LTX scene. For $1200, if they really are the level 3 heads, I would jump on them in a heartbeat.

Easy there trigger. Just because someone has a low post count or a fairly new join date doesn't mean they are a noob. Now I know that wasn't directed toward me, and his statement is a little stretched, but come on now. I have been at this for quite some time now (early 97, but not on this site), and I still remember some of your first questions and statements over on CZ28.com.

I second that emotion . Anything 23*s can bring it .
Sure, its expensive and takes a ton of man hours, but you can't replicate what a talented individual can do by hand with a pre-written NC script.
To the OP, your build should run mid-low 11s depending on your setup. My stock cube build with a 227 grind pulled consistant 11.7-11.9s with shitty hogged out heads and a much smaller cam. It was a full interior DD street car with only a 3200 stall. Those GTP heads are a ton better then what I had, and more cam will help assuming you have the gearing to use it.
