Talking Heads/Cam (243's/TR230) Dyno day 10/19/10! ~ Track results here!

Please no negative comments about what you think about the set up I chose.
TR230/224
243's milled .020
7.4 push rods
LS7 lifters
Patriot duals
Melling high volume pump
PS LT's ORY through SLP D/D or electric cut out

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDTKa...os=SO67xYwkmdA

392rwhp 376rwtrq (STD)

This is the first day. All this took about 1.5 hours of work.

First I took off the intake assembly..

Then the throttle body

These are all 4 of the sensors that had to be disconnected from the lid/throttle body

Then took out the 3 water pump bolts on the drivers side

Then took the other 3 off on the passenger side

Water pump gone..

Then took off the AC condensor and radiator

Good work, just as a tip try to get the grounds off the back of the heads before you unbolt them. A 15mm rachet wrench works wonders back there.

I am leaving the motor in. You don't need to drop the motor to do heads cam. Check out LS1howto.com for a more in depth write up.

Looking good man, I see you pulled the pulley off instead of wrenching behind the pump (it sucks)

You might have to (drop the pan a little), to gain access to the oil pickup tube bolt.
