Default Couple of vids from my run at the track last night

14.20 and a 14.36 run on the vids. Got 5 runs in, all around the same time. I was hoping for a high/mid 13s as the weather was nice and cold, but couldn't get it

Let me know what you think and any advice.

Looks like you got a 2.16 60 foot which isn't bad. I'd try 255/50/16 Drag Radials, should help out a bit.

with practice you should be able to cut low 2.0x 60's on stockers. It seems to me that your car is lacking some. doesn't seem to pull hard up top???? how many miles on it? my GXP (granted it was 3 months old at the time) would make the shift to 3rd (101mph) and trap 102+ all day long in cold weather and still trap 100+ in warm weather. Not sure of your trap speed but it didn't seem to be over 100?

if you get the 60' down some you still will only be a 14.0 car. Something in your combo is hurting you. you need to go back to stock/ish and see what the deal is.. I would try a Stock tune first. Get it dynotuned and see what the tuner sees.. what was the DA??

I have brand new 245/45 Flakin 912's on it and ran them at 23lbs in the fronts. I did notice that it does feel a little off, like it bogs a little in 2nd gear. Only thing done to it is the Cortex tune, KNN intake and the DP however the cutout is broken on it so it is welded shut until I get a new one. Trap speeds were between 98-99mph on all runs. What does DA mean?

He's ran in the 13's before if I remember correctly. And I had the same setup as him and ran 13.5 @ 103 in a decent DA. I'd go with DR's, maybe time for a trans fluid change and shift kit.

13.94 was what I ran once on a very humid night! I had a working cutout at the time, so I'm wondering if that is making a difference.. I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't break into the 13's this time being that it was around 58 degrees and very low humidity..

I have the shift points at 300 rpm for first and I believe 700 on the second to third shift.

I still held 2nd to redline, I shifted to 3rd pretty early on the shorter tires though.

For some reason stability control came on, I think that happens if the steering wheel is not centered. I'm still noobish at reading a track but I had no issues getting traction even with the tc off.

I'm really considering getting smaller and lightweight wheels for the front, that should help out.
